Chopping Boards

Chopping boards are the best way to slice and dice your vegetables and meats.
There’s a colour-coded chopping board for every job.• Red – ‘RAW MEAT’

  • Blue – ‘RAW FISH’
  • Yellow – ‘COOKED MEATS’
  • Green – ‘SALAD & FRUIT PRODUCTS’
  • Brown – ‘VEGETABLE PRODUCTS’
  • White – ‘BAKERY & DAIRY PRODUCTS’

A different chopping board is needed for each type of food that is used. Raw meat cannot be cut on the same board as cooked meat and vegetables cannot be cut on the same board as raw poultry. If used correctly, colour coded chopping boards can eliminate or reduce the risk of cross contamination during food preparation’.
